There Is So Much Good In High Point.
In continuous support of its community, Business High Point-Chamber of Commerce is launching an initiative to lift spirits,
promote togetherness and share stories of kindness and hope during these challenging times.
The initiative titled Community First. Community Always. celebrates those who are helping wherever they can, however they can.
Community First. Community Always. shines a spotlight on community members, both organizations and individuals, through social media, e-newsletters, and the newspaper, as well as with flags across town and signs displayed in business windows and front yards.
Inspired by our 900+ Chamber members who didn’t let an opportunity to help, big or small, pass by, Community First. Community Always. was born. Companies such as Culp and Harriss & Covington have helped in major ways by altering their production lines to focus on making masks. In a matter of days, local restaurants learned to operate with contactless interactions. And, then there are individuals who have stepped up, too, by hand-sewing masks, and even children sharing joy on sidewalks with chalk drawings.
All of it makes a difference. All of it brings light to the community and this is Community First. Community Always.
