This session covers tactical tips and best practices across a variety of free digital tools that tourism and hospitality businesses can use to help inspire confidence with consumers who are traveling during and after the pandemic. Research shows that consumer purchases are heavily influenced by health and safety considerations at the moment, particularly as it relates to travel. Visitor facing businesses can take advantage of free tools available within Google My Business, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Facebook in order to proactively share information with customers, including the Count On Me NC training and procedures they have undertaken. These proactive efforts can help hospitality businesses maximize their exposure within influential consumer-facing platforms and generate incremental business at a time when it matters most.
