For most of the 20th Century, agriculture played a large role in the economy of High Point, and numerous dairies in and around the city provided our population with milk, butter, and ice cream. We will be displaying various artifacts related to High Point’s dairy operations and ice cream parlors in celebration of Dairy Month (June) and Ice Cream Month (July). We invite you to join us to celebrate National Ice Cream Day with one free scoop of ice cream per person while supplies last. Other activities include sidewalk chalk, photo booth and ice cream and dairy themed crafts. See the exhibit and watch a video from Hunter Farms (who donated the ice cream) inside the Museum.
