Fifth Grade Teacher

Westchester Country Day School, a PK-12 college preparatory school located in High Point, NC, seeks a Lower School Fifth Grade Teacher starting in the 2023-2024 school year. Candidate must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field of education. Previous teaching experience is preferred. A team-oriented work ethic and an enthusiasm for helping children learn and grow are characteristics we are seeking in a candidate. Responsibilities include teaching Language Arts (reading, writing, grammar, spelling) to two fifth-grade classes, evaluating students on their progress, team-teaching and coordinating schedules with the fifth grade math, science, and social studies teacher, and other duties as assigned by the Head of Lower School.
