Business High Point-Chamber of Commerce and Visit High Point, joined together to launch High Point Veterans Initiative (HPVI) – a program centered around recruiting, engaging and supporting transitioning veterans and their families, encouraging them to live, work and grow in High Point.
Our mission is to strategically serve transitioning veterans, professionally, personally and holistically, with the highest level of engagement.
Open Arms
We welcome veterans into High Point with open arms by connecting them not just to resources, but to the heart of our community. From lively gathering places and local events to the networks of people who call High Point home, we help veterans find their place here. Transitioning isn’t only about services; it’s belonging. That’s why we create pathways for veterans and their families to experience the rhythm of our city, build relationships, and connect with like-minded neighbors who understand the journey into civilian life.
Open Access
HPVI works closely with Ft. Bragg, Camp Lejeune and the Coast Guard providing the transitioning military from all locations open access to our programming. HPVI will soon have a presence through hiring events, offering service members help with job placement in the High Point area. High Point employers also have access to job posts and current openings directly on the job posting site at Ft. Bragg to engage transitioning soldiers.
Veterans Bridge Home is one of the local organizations who partner with the US Department of Labor Employment Navigator and Partnership Program (ENPP). Our staff provides one-on-one career assistance to interested transitioning service members, and their spouses, at select military installations worldwide.

Through a collaboration with RecruitMilitary, the nation’s largest organization committed to providing employment opportunities for transitioning active-duty military, as well as the US Chamber of Commerce Hire Our Heroes program, we connect local employers and veteran talent to opportunities within our community.
