
Business High Point – Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce exciting updates to its team with the addition of two new hires and a key internal promotion. These strategic staffing changes support the organization’s continued growth, commitment to operational excellence, and mission to foster a vibrant business community in High Point.
Jameela Bibi joins the Chamber as the Finance Manager, bringing more than 13 years of experience in accounting operations and compliance. Formerly Associate Manager of Accounting Operations at PepsiCo, Jameela led major initiatives including ERP transitions and financial oversight across more than 400 U.S. sales locations. Known for her strategic thinking and collaborative approach, she brings deep financial expertise and a passion for community impact to her new role. A recent North Carolina transplant from New York, Jameela is excited to contribute to the Chamber’s strategic vision and financial health.
Meagan Curotola has been promoted to Executive Assistant to the CEO, Rachel Collins. Meagan previously served as Event Concierge at Congdon Yards, where she managed operations for the Factory’s third-floor boardrooms and delivered exceptional client service. Her attention to detail, organizational strengths, and ability to navigate fast-paced environments have made her an invaluable asset. In her new role, Meagan will support the CEO directly and continue her dedicated service to the Chamber’s mission.
Michela Chapman joins the team as the new Event Concierge at Congdon Yards. A High Point native and senior at East Carolina University studying Hospitality Leadership, Michela brings a passion for event planning and community building. Her hands-on experience in special events and her commitment to supporting her hometown make her a great fit for this role.
