The Furnitureland Rotary Club of High Point is proud to host its 46th annual Charity Dinner & Auction at High Point University Community Center at Oak Hollow Mall on Friday: March 8th, 2019.
Each year the Rotary Auction makes a large impact for over 20 local charities and organizations. Our primary beneficiary is Mobile Meals, we strive to donate a minimum of 25,000 annually to them.
Furnitureland Rotary was founded in 1971. This past year we surpassed $515,000 in total donations to Mobile Meals of High Point and are quickly approaching the $300,000 mark to other charities throughout the community. The other charities that have received support include Community Clinic of High Point, GOFAR, RUSH, Feeding Lisa’s Kids, Carl Chavis YMCA, Out of the Garden Project, Cover the City, Guilford Education Alliance, HP Communities Against Violence, Open Door Ministries, Helping Hands, Salvation Army, Fairview Elementary School, Family Services, The City Project, High Point Arts Council, American Legion, and many more.
Tickets are $40.00 Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Dinner will be served plus a free, open bar with beer provided by I.H. Caffey Co.
Events include: A silent and live auction with a number of special trip packages, and a wide assortment of HIGH END Furniture from up to fifty leading companies (typically we have mattress sets (2-4), dining suites (2-6), bedroom suites (2-6), and sofas (3-10), , a silent auction with over 200 valuable items from sports memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, art, and designer baskets.
